Mar 2010 The categories for Model Expo 2010 have been finalised. There has been some changes to Aircraft, AFV's and Civil Vehicles. In Aircraft and AFV's the Out of Box and Enhanced Categories have been merged to allow modellers to go that extra bit on their models if they choose and to try and make it easier on all entrants to add that extra bit of detail to their models which in essence do not change the character of the model, such as seat belts, antennas, rigging and in AFV's some stowage. For Autos, we are attempting to streamline the categories to allow the modellers to finish in whatever finish/scheme they want but align the categories with the overall Model Expo vision around modifications.
In a short while a revised Model Expo Handbook will be uploaded.
Feb 2010 Navart (Randal Wilson) is offering an award of an original Painting (Box art master for Trumpeter Ships) for the best 1/350 Scale Ship for 2010. So for the ship builders this is great incentive.

Jan 2010 Planning is well underway for Model Expo 2010.
As always we are striving to improve and make it a better experience for all.
So far we are hoping to get more space in the Swap and Sell area and improve the demonstrations.
