Now the BIG news...
28th and 29th June 2008
2 day show only !!!
The V8 Supercars have rescheduled one of their meetings
due the Beijing Olympics, this means that Model Expo has had to change
date and as Sandown still appears to be the best venue
for the show, we must move dates to later in June to accomodate this.
We apologise, but this is pretty much out of our hands. But we can
assure you that everything will be done to make the 2 day event as
good as any other Model Expo.

Model Expo 2008
1. Change to Conditions of Entry.
a. Out of Box models.
This year Model Expo will allow Out of Box models in ALL CATEGORIES to be finished in ANY colour scheme with decals/markings from ANY source. This means that you do not have to finish a model in the kit decals or colour scheme. Reference for alternative colour schemes and markings MUST be provided, except for colour of civil vehicles. All other rules for Out of Box (OOB) still apply.

2. Model Expo again incorporates the Vic Wills Challenge.
The Vic Wills event is an interclub modelling event for Civil Vehicles.
For interested clubs the conditions of entry are on the Vic
Wills Page.
3. To ensure the viewing public and fellow modellers get to see the BEST
models in the show.
Models can be collected between 5.00 pm and 6.00 pm on Sunday
ONLY.
Any prize winning model that is removed from the tables prior to 5.00pm
Sunday will forfeit that prize.
