Vic Wills Trophy
Model Cars

Concours d'Elegance
Open to all clubs!
2008 Vic Wills Contest

Now running in conjunction with the
Australian Model Expo
Sandown Racecourse, Springvale.
Saturday, Sunday 28-29 June

Paid-up members of bona-fide scale model clubs entering into any Model Expo Car Categories can also enter the same models into the Vic Wills model cars challenge contest (double entry).

There year there is a change to the conditions, in that a club team can be made up from a minimum of two models from this year on (rather than the previous minimum requirement of six models). Bonus points will be awarded for each model above the minimum of two, up to a maximum of six models. Judging will be
carried out fairly for all teams by being limited to the lowest number of
models entered by a club, e.g. the club that fields the smallest number of
models sets the minimum models judging benchmark for all other clubs.

Entry is limited to civil automobiles of any era including competition and racing cars. Trucks, utilities, buses, commercial and military vehicles are not eligible for entry.

Each model car must be entirely built and finished by the one builder. The model cars should be presented in Concours d'Elegance condition (clean and unblemished), however it is permissible to represent a small amount of natural wear and tear. The Vic Wills contest will be run at the Australian Model Car Club (AMCC) display stand.

Entries taken at same times and dates as for Model Expo entries
(Friday; 6-8.30 pm, and Saturday; 9 am-12.30 pm).
